Good gear shouldn't be this hard to find.

Sunset Touring started out of a simple frustration. Quality 4x4 touring gear in Australia was either overpriced, hard to track down, or just not built for the conditions we actually drive in. So we started stocking the gear we wanted to run ourselves.

The rig everything gets tested on.

Who we are

A small Australian owned and operated outfit. No middlemen, no call centre. The people choosing the gear are the same people bolting it to their own rigs and driving it into the bush on the weekend.

How we pick what we sell

Every product has to earn its place. If we would not run it on our own vehicle, it does not go in the range. That is why the list is short and there is no filler in it - awnings, rooftop tents and the touring gear that goes with them, chosen because they work.

Where we send it

Australia-wide. Tents and awnings travel by freight, everything else goes by post, and you see the exact cost at checkout before you pay. If you are not sure something suits your build, ask first - we would rather talk you out of the wrong product than take the sale.
